About Us
I work together with other professionals, translators or proofreaders. Together, we form a small team of enthusiastic linguists who can handle even larger or more complex projects.
I studied translation and interpreting at the Charles University in Prague. I have been working as a freelance translator since 2014. I mainly focus on technical German to Czech translations, but I also have experience in English to Czech (marketing, websites, product portfolios, business corresponcence and more). I work in the Czech Republic as well as abroad (Germany, Austria, England).
Mgr. Kristýna Chvojková
My main focus is simultaneous and consecutive interpreting between French, English and Czech at conferences, discussions, trainings or cultural events. In translation, I specialize in legal texts (contracts, EU documentation, residence permits for foreigners in the Czech Republic) and I also translate journalistic texts into Czech. I have experience with proofreading and translation of film subtitles. I studied intercultural communication and interpreting at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague and completed legal translation courses at the Faculty of Law. I currently live in Prague.
Jack Slater
I was educated in Scotland, United Kingdom at Heriot-Watt University where I obtained a Diploma of Higher Education in Interpreting and Translation (French / Spanish). I am proficient in French to English translation and possess a C1 / C2 skill level of French as well as B2 in Spanish (CEFR). I am currently living in Quebec City, Canada where I make use of my French daily and I absolutely love learning and using foreign languages. I am passionate about a connected world in which we can all communicate more effectively through translation and am proud to contribute to it.
